Historically known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean, Sri Lanka has been engaged in promoting the UWC Ideals for over two decades with a growing alumni network. 

Founded in 1992 by Dr. Frank Jayasinghe, UWC Sri Lanka carries out services in selection of students for UWC Scholarships as well as making a positive community impact. A well groomed network of alumni are spread across  the world contributing for sustainable economic, environmental and human growth within their helm of  passion and expertise. 

We belive there is more who should experience an UWC education for more empathy among different people and respect for nature. Therefore, UWC Sri Lanka looks forward to partner with corporate donors, schools, humanitarian & environmental organisations to give the youth of Sri Lanka an opportunity to live an UWC experience. 

The National Committee is eager to reach and work with all interested individuals and organisations to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
